Adam: The Fall, a half life-size figure, conveys the psychological aftermath of Eve’s transgression through his tense, protective posture, vulnerability, and his conscious choice to eat the forbidden fruit. Finished with a rich black patination that echoes the darkness of the narrative and the weight of judgement, the sculpture explores the meeting point of ancient theological origins and contemporary surveillance culture. Presented as a central pillar of the Adam & Eve series, ‘The Fall’, Adam invites viewers to reflect on the experience of living under constant observation.

Cast in iron resin, it distils the series' exploration of judgement and surveillance into a single, loaded form; a symbol of human curiosity and the irrevocable loss of unexamined innocence.
