Portmeirion Ascending explores the delicate balance between nature and the Italianate architecture of Portmeirion in coastal Wales. Rocky hills and ascending stone pathways lead the viewer upward through soft light and layered foliage, where Mediterranean-inspired architecture and the natural landscape exist in quiet harmony.

Three blue boats drift in mirrored calm, their reflections shimmering softly on the gentle tide, while liquid-charcoal used to depict rocks rise behind, textured and solemn. The scene whispers of stillness and quiet contemplation, the fragile harmony between water, stone, and vessel capturing the gentle heartbeat of the shore and the serene pulse of the sea.
