Summer Open Exhibition – Online Sales Terms & Conditions
By purchasing artwork through the Yardley Arts Summer Open Exhibition website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Artwork Sales
All artworks are original works and are sold subject to availability. A purchase is confirmed only when payment has been successfully received.
2. Collection of Artwork
Purchased artworks must be collected from Yardley Arts between the dates and times specified on the website.
Purchasers are responsible for:
Collecting artwork in person; or
Arranging and paying for their own courier to collect the artwork.
Yardley Arts does not provide delivery or shipping services.
3. Transfer of Responsibility
Responsibility for the artwork transfers to the purchaser upon collection by the purchaser or their nominated courier.
Yardley Arts accepts no liability for loss, damage, delay, theft, customs charges, insurance claims or any other issues arising after the artwork has been collected.
4. Returns and Refunds
All sales are final.
As artworks are unique original works, purchases cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded except where required by law.
5. Artwork Descriptions
Every effort is made to ensure that artwork images, dimensions and descriptions are accurate. Colours and appearance may vary between screens and devices.
6. Collection Deadline
Artwork not collected within the published collection period may be placed into storage or returned to the artist. Yardley Arts reserves the right to charge reasonable storage or administration fees where collection arrangements have not been made.
7. Limitation of Liability
Yardley Arts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the purchase, collection or transportation of artwork.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
