A companion piece to ‘Theft’, this is the foot and hand of the powerful figure, including plumes of flame that have escaped the artwork. This was made using the process of needle felting and sculpting. I liked the idea that I could remove things from my own artwork if I wanted. My art has always been influenced by my love of ghost stories and horror films, so I found the ghoulish nature of it quite fun.
